Customer Training Curriculum

Cisco Security Training Services offers Instructor-led, Instructor-led Online and E-Learning courses. The Customer Training courses are designed to provide you with up-to-date knowledge and skills to successfully evaluate, integrate, deploy, and support Cisco Security products and solutions.

Instructor-led Training

Securing Your Email with Cisco IronPort C-Series, Part I is a comprehensive, two-day course with extensive lab exercises for hands-on experience installing, configuring and administrating the Cisco IronPort email security appliance.

Securing Your Email with Cisco IronPort C-Series, Part II is an in-depth one-day course that discusses advanced message routing and delivery options such as Message Filters, LDAP, Domain Keys Identified Mail, and Sender Profile/ID Framework. Each topic provides extensive hands-on lab exercises to enable participants perform email security administration functions.

Securing Your Web with Cisco IronPort S-Series is a comprehensive, two-day course with hands-on labs, demonstrations and presentations that focus on installing, configuring, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Cisco IronPort S-Series web security appliance.

Cisco IronPort Encryption Appliance Training is a one-day that discusses how to install, configure, operate and maintain the Cisco IronPort Encryption Appliance (IEA). This course consists of hands-on labs and presentations to help students learn technical aspects of the IEA.

Cisco Advanced SSL VPN Administration is a 3-day course that discusses the features and capabilities of the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA). The course is a combination of lecture and hands-on lab exercises. The training teaches how to configure and deploy features of the ASA SSL VPN in a lab environment that uses real world deployment scenarios.

Implementing Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility is a 2 day course that covers the AnyConnect Secure Mobility solution. The course focuses on several technologies that come together to provide effective Mobile User Security. These technologies include the AnyConnect VPN client, the Cisco ScanSafe cloud-based web security solution, the Cisco IronPort Web Security Appliance on-premises solution, the Network Access Manager, the ASA Posture Assessment. This comprehensive training course covers how to install, configure and administer and trouble shoot the solution. It consists of approximately 50% hands-on labs and 50% presentations.

Instructor-led Online Training

Cisco Security Instructor-led Online Training is delivered using WebEx. Scheduled live web casts are available to Customers, Channel Partners and Employees across multiple time zones. Depending on the course, a combination of lecture and hands-on lab exercises will be presented.
